Aviva Assets Rise as Wealth, Investment Arm See Net Inflows

UK insurer Aviva Plc said its wealth arm saw net inflows in the first half of the year, with assets under management in the business rising by 16%.

The unit attracted net flows of £5.8 billion ($7.9 billion), while the firm’s asset management arm, Aviva Investors, hauled in £300 million net from external investors in the period, according to a statement Thursday. Group operating profit rose 22% to £1.07 billion.
