Artificial Stone Maker, Insurer Settle Silica Coverage Dispute

An engineered stone surface manufacturer and its insurer reached a mediated settlement agreement in a coverage dispute over underlying litigation alleging silica-related injuries.

Vicostone USA and Allied Property & Casualty Insurance Co. notified the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas of the preliminary agreement in a joint status report filed Oct. 24.
