AIG, Berkshire Push NY Judge for Ruling on Ghost Gun Coverage

Units of American International Group Inc. and Berkshire Hathaway Inc. are seeking a ruling that they had no duty to defend a firearm retailer in litigation alleging it fueled gun violence.

The underlying “ghost gun” suits against KM Tactical LLC didn’t meet threshold requirements to trigger general liability insurance coverage, the carriers said in a motion for summary judgment on their duty to defend filed Nov. 14 in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
