Video Game Maker Electronic Arts Hikes Legal Chief’s Pay (1)

Jacob Schatz, longtime chief legal officer for Electronic Arts Inc., last year secured about $7.7 million in total compensation—a nearly 11% pay boost—amid a reorganization at the video game giant.

Schatz’s fiscal 2025 pay package was about $750,000 more than the roughly $6.9 million he earned a year earlier, according to the company’s proxy statement released Tuesday. Schatz’s total compensation is based on his stock awards, base salary, target bonus, and other factors. EA’s 2025 fiscal year ended March 31.
