The University of Southern California has hired a top Kaiser Permanente lawyer and former federal prosecutor as its new general counsel in the wake of high-profile scandals involving college admissions and sexual abuse.
Beong-Soo Kim joins USC after more than five years at Kaiser Permanente. He previously led the white collar prosecution section in the U.S. attorney’s office in Los Angeles.
