Four states are suing proxy advisory firm Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. over what they’re describing as a political “agenda” that favors promoting environmental, social, and governance values.
Attorneys general of Iowa, Nebraska, Texas and West Virginia filed lawsuits Wednesday against the proxy advisory giant, adding to a string of state actions against the firm.
