Students Sue Over Suspensions After Female In Boys’ Locker Room

Two Northern Virginia public high school students are suing a school board over claims their school allowed a female student to use the boys’ locker room.

Their constitutional and civil rights were violated when they were suspended after speaking out against being required to share a locker room with the female student, according to the lawsuit filed Monday with the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Loudoun County Public Schools wouldn’t suspend a student simply because they expressed some kind of discomfort, spokesman Dan Adams said in a statement.
