Spirit AeroSystems Shifts DEI Language Following Texas Scrutiny

Spirit AeroSystems Holdings Inc. reeled in how it talks about diversity in its first annual report since a state attorney general inquiry nearly a year ago into its diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.

Spirit AeroSystems, which manufactures airplane parts for Boeing Co., had a section in its 10-K report to investors last year titled “diversity, equity and inclusion.” But its 10-K report released late on Friday replaced that language with “culture and talent management.”
