Alto, a self-directed IRA platform for private market and alternative assets, said Wednesday that it had appointed Tom Eidt as its general counsel.
Eidt has over two decades of legal and compliance expertise, most recently serving as general counsel at digital securities platform Securitize. He began his career at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he was a senior counsel in the Trading and Markets Division as well as an assistant director in the Exams Division.
