QBE Insurers Sue Home Depot Over Silica Exposure Litigation

QBE Insurance Group Ltd. units are suing Home Depot Inc. , seeking a ruling that they owe no coverage to the retail giant for litigation alleging injuries caused by exposure to silica dust.

Home Depot isn’t covered under the policies issued to Cambria Enterprises LLC, which manufactured some of the artificial stone products marketed, distributed, and sold by the home improvement store, Regent Insurance Co. and General Casualty Co. of Wisconsin said in a complaint filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
