PPG Appoints Gette General Counsel as Foulkes Prepares to Retire

PPG said Monday that Joe Gette would serve as its new senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, replacing Anne Foulkes, who plans to retire.

Gette will take on the new role on Jan 1 of next year. Currently vice president, deputy general counsel and secretary, Gette will join PPG’s operating and executive committees, reporting to chairman and CEO Tim Knavish. Foulkes, a 30-year company veteran who has been GC since 2018, will transition to serve as senior vice president, legal and special projects, to ensure a smooth transition and oversee certain projects until August 2026.
