Software maker Palantir’s top lawyer saw his compensation more than double to about $28 million last year, according to a company filing.

One of Palantir’s most notable legal battles last year came in October, when the company sued former employees for allegedly creating a “copycat” competitor. A judge ruled in February those former workers had likely violated confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements, but didn’t order a halt to their work at the new company.
Stock awards composed the majority of Taylor’s 2025 compensation package. His base salary was $442,925.
Taylor was one of only two named executive officers to receive new stock awards last year and the year before, according to Palantir’s proxy. The company awarded the shares “in an effort to retain and incentivize” Taylor and to keep him “appropriately motivated.”
