The Los Angeles Chargers ushered in a new general counsel in Robert Conca this summer, just months before they finalized one of the largest minority stake sales ever by a US professional sports team.
Conca, most recently a partner at Shustak Reynolds & Partners in San Diego, joined the Chargers in July to succeed former general counsel Deborah Dixon. Conca brings corporate, investment, and private equity expertise to the team, which in recent years has had several high-powered lawyers in its orbit as the club settled into a new home.
