McKesson’s Top Lawyer Payout Tumbles on Drop in Variable Comp

Michele Lau, chief legal officer for McKesson Corp., received 41% less in total compensation for fiscal year 2025, as her stock award fell sharply from a year earlier.

Lau, who is also an executive vice president, got total compensation of about $5.2 million this year, according to a corporate filing Friday by the pharmaceutical and medical products distributor. That was down from $8.8 million in 2024, when she booked a $1.5 million bonus and got a $6.9 million stock award. The bonus wasn’t repeated and her 2025 stock award was 56% lower this year, at about $3 million. ...
