John Decker joined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in its energy regulatory practice group in Washington, the firm announced Monday.
Decker advises on transactional and regulatory matters in the natural gas and electric power industries. He represents natural gas pipeline owners, liquefied natural gas importers, investor-owned utilities, and other energy clients before federal agencies, and counsels on commercial and regulatory issues in electricity markets, the firm said.
He joins from Vinson & Elkins.
