Insurers Seek to Toss Boy Scouts Sexual Abuse Coverage Suit

Dozens of insurers are moving to dismiss a suit brought by the trustee of the Boy Scouts of America’s settlement trust accusing them of refusing to cover sexual abuse claims and acting in bad faith.

One group of insurers—units of Allianz SE—in a Thursday filing asked the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas to dismiss or pause the suit, arguing it’s being heard in the wrong venue.
