Former Planet Fitness CEO Chris Rondeau Resigns From Board

Former Planet Fitness CEO, Christopher Rondeau, resigned from the board of directors following disagreements with a 9% job cut at company headquarters and the search for a permanent CEO.

• Rondeau called recent decisions by the board “reckless and negligent” in a letter on Feb. 14
• Planet Fitness “respectfully disagrees” with Rondeau’s views on the matter and will provide an update on the CEO search at their earnings call on Feb. 22
