Build-A-Bear Names Yevgeny Fundler as New Chief Legal Officer

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. announced the appointment of Yevgeny Fundler as chief legal officer and secretary, the hands-on stuffed animal maker said Monday.

Fundler will oversee the company’s legal, corporate governance, and disclosure matters, serving as a liaison between the board of directors, senior management, and shareholders. He will report directly to President and CEO Sharon Price John, assuming responsibilities from retiring Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Secretary Eric Fencl, who served as general counsel for 17 years. Fundler has previously held legal leadership roles at publicly traded companies like Benson Hill, Inc. and American Railcar Industries, Inc.
