Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. and a bisexual former worker have agreed to end a legal dispute after settling claims of harassment and retaliation, the parties told a federal judge in New York.
Christopher O’Connor sued the baking company in 2024, alleging among other things that co-workers stole money and medicine from him and carved a homophobic slur on his locker. He also claimed a coworker knocked him unconscious, and that the company took no action when he complained of harassment and ultimately fired him.
