Best Buy Executive Will Exit Before Husband Takes Over as CEO

Before Best Buy Co.’s Jason Bonfig becomes chief executive officer on Nov. 1, his wife, who is a longtime executive at the electronics retailer, will leave the company.

Best Buy announced the departure of Marie Grable, senior vice president for omnichannel operations, in its proxy filing on Thursday. She presented her resignation last week and will leave the company on July 31, according to the filing.

Grable has worked at Best Buy since 1997. She has served as vice president of marketing operations and merchant director, among other roles, according to her LinkedIn profile. The company ...
