Ballot Results Signal Approval of Leave, Worker Status, Wage Issues

Early election results in California, Colorado, Florida, and Maine suggested that Nov. 3 ballot measures related to independent contractors, paid family and medical leave, and higher minimum wages were approved.

Results could take up to several weeks to certify.
