Pharmaceutical company Aquestive Therapeutics announced Friday the appointment of Thomas Zalewski as chief legal officer and chief compliance officer, effective April 2.
He will succeed Lori Braender, who will remain with the company as corporate secretary, Aquestive said in a press release. Zalewski joins from Day Pitney LLP where he was a partner and chair of the health care and life sciences practice. He has extensive experience advising life sciences companies on strategic, commercial and regulatory matters.
Zalewski will receive an equity grant of 100,000 restricted stock units and 75,000 stock options that vest over three years.
