AO Smith Appoints Jones General Counsel in Leadership Transition

AO Smith Corp., a water heating and water treatment company, said Thursday it was appointing Paul Jones to the roles of senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer, effective Oct. 1.

Jim Stern, the current executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, will transition to executive vice president corporate development, strategy and secretary, it said. These executive changes demonstrate a planned leadership transition at the company.
