Alphabet Legal Chief’s Pay Package Dipped to $29 Million in 2025

Alphabet Inc.‘s chief legal officer saw his compensation package decrease slightly to $29 million last year, according to a proxy statement filed Friday.

Kent Walker, who is also the company’s secretary and president of global affairs, brought in $30.2 million in 2024. That made him the S&P 500’s top-paid attorney. He’s part of a growing cohort of corporate general counsels with hybrid roles.

Walker has spent two decades handling various legal matters for Alphabet and has handled global affairs for five years. He took home pay packages valued at $27.3 million in 2023 and $24.5 million in 2022.
