Adobe Hires Roku’s Top Lawyer as Company Faces AI Challenges

Adobe Inc. announced Wednesday its addition of Roku Inc.’s top lawyer A. Louise Pentland as its new chief legal officer. The role puts Pentland in charge of the technology giant’s global legal, government relations, and policy functions as it grapples with artificial intelligence challenges.

Pentland, who didn’t respond to requests for comment about her new role, joined Roku last summer after spending less than a year as the lead lawyer for the theme park business of Walt Disney Co.
