An HHS plan to better protect the privacy rights of people seeking abortions amid a slew of state-level restrictions has cleared White House review.
The proposed rule (RIN: 0945-AA20), from the Health and Human Services Department’s Office for Civil Rights, can be published at any time.
It marks the latest move from the Biden administration to ensure reproductive health-care rights amid tense battles in courtrooms and state legislatures.
