Once-Indicted Judge Fights Against Reprimand in ICE Evasion Case

Massachusetts’ high court Monday labored with whether and how to discipline a state judge who was cleared of high-profile claims she helped an immigrant evade federal agents but may have violated other judicial rules.

The state’s Commission for Judicial Conduct told the Supreme Judicial Court during oral argument that Judge Shelley Joseph’s conduct was deserving of a public reprimand.
