Immigrant Investors Sue USCIS Over Denial of Hawaii Job Program

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services failed to justify its denial of an organic dairy project in Hawaii supported by foreign investors seeking immigrant visas through the EB-5 visa program, according to a lawsuit filed in a Hawaii federal court.

The agency’s decision is arbitrary and capricious and goes against USCIS policy, according to the lawsuit filed Thursday in the District of Hawaii.
