Honigman Hires Valerie Stacey as Business Litigation Partner

Valerie Stacey joined Honigman as a partner in its business litigation practice group in Detroit, the firm announced Monday.

Stacey’s practice focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation and complex tort disputes in state and federal courts across the country, working with clients on high-profile, multi-million, and billion-dollar cases, the firm said.

In addition to her client work, she has a pro bono practice counseling asylum seekers, including developing case assessments and preparing refugees for credible fear interviews, as well as first-chairing evidentiary hearings to secure restraining orders.

She joins from Jones Day.
