Delta Sued by Black Ex-Worker for Discrimination, Retaliation

Delta Air Lines Inc. was sued in federal by a former recruiter, alleging the airline violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and Section 1981 by discriminating against him based on race and retaliating against him.

Alex Barr claims he was paid less than his non-African American peers in the same Lead Students & Early Careers Recruiter role and was singled out for harsher discipline, despite having no prior issues, according to a Tuesday filing in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
