CBS News aired a previously pulled episode of 60 Minutes examining the deportation of Venezuelan migrants to a prison in El Salvador that was largely unchanged from an earlier leaked version, but included additional efforts to seek comment from Trump administration officials.
The nearly 17-minute segment that aired Sunday night featured interviews with two Venezuelan men who said they were among 252 deported by the US to El Salvador’s CECOT prison, where they said they and other detainees were beaten, tortured and sexually assaulted.
