The Biden administration can continue expelling migrant families under a pandemic-related public health order, a federal court said Thursday.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit sidelined a lower court order that blocked officials from applying the Title 42 expulsion policy to families.
Border officials can continue turning families away while the appeal proceeds.
Title 42, which allows U.S. border patrol officials to deny entry of immigrants who might pose a public health risk, has been used recently to remove Haitian migrants from the U.S.
