Netflix Lawfully Fired Link-Leaking Worker, NLRB Lawyers Say

Netflix Inc. legally fired a worker who included an internal, password-protected link to confidential business information in a social media post raising concerns about employment issues, according to National Labor Relations Board lawyers.

By including the link on Blind—a website where verified employees anonymously discuss their jobs and workplaces—the worker rendered the post unprotected by federal labor law, the NLRB’s advice division said in a memo made public Monday.
