Pentagon to Start Considering Hundreds of Malpractice Claims

The Pentagon will be able to start considering hundreds of medical malpractice claims next month, after military victims of botched procedures and misdiagnoses have waited for more than a year.

The Biden administration on Thursday is set to publish its interim final rule to process at least $2 billion in claims that have already been filed, according to a Federal Register notice on Wednesday. The Pentagon can start processing claims 30 days after the rule is published.
