The Department of Health and Human Services has released the STI Federal Implementation Plan, according to a Thursday news release.
The plan details more than 200 actions for federal stakeholders to reach the goals of preventing new sexually transmitted infections, improving public health by reducing STIs’ adverse outcomes, accelerating progress in STI research, technology, and innovation, reducing health disparities and inequities caused by STIs, and achieving efforts to reduce the STI epidemic, HHS said.
