White House Cuts Covid Funding Request to $15B: Senator Blunt

The White House has lowered its initial emergency funding request for Covid-19 response to $15 billion from $22.5 billion it sought previously, Republican Senator Roy Blunt says.

  • The Covid funding was sought as part of a supplemental request that also includes emergency spending related to the response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine
