ValueOptions, an independent behavioral health care company, announced its partnership with Verizon Telehealth Collaboration Services July 9 to securely offer cost-effective tele-psychiatry to residents of Immokalee, Fla., according to a press release from ValueOptions.
Verizon’s high-definition video conferencing units will facilitate remote consultations between clinical specialists and those in need of services, ValueOptions said. These consultations will take place at the David Lawrence Center, a Collier County-based mental health center, the release said.
