About 15,000 homeless and low-income children and their families nationwide will have access to health care using the newest health information technology provided by the Verizon Foundation at 15 mobile medical clinics run by the Children’s Health Fund.
Most CHF mobile clinics currently have wireless connectivity, but Verizon is first to provide a high-speed 4G LTE wireless broadband connection to enable a more seamless connectivity among the clinics. CHF is a nonprofit organization that provides health care and health education to underserved children and their families at mobile medical clinics.
