Venable Recruits Richard Wells as Intellectual Property Partner

Richard Wells joined Venable as a partner in its intellectual property litigation and technology group in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.

Wells’ practice includes asserting and defending against patent infringement claims in federal district courts, and before both the International Trade Commission and the Patent Trials and Appeals Board, the firm said.

He works with clients in the medical devices, oilfields, heavy industry, and software industries.
