Vault to Pay $8 Million to Settle Pandemic False Billing Claims

Vault Medical Services and Vault Medical Services of New Jersey agreed to pay $8 million to resolve allegations that they violated the False Claims Act by knowingly submitting or causing the submission of false claims to the Uninsured Program for patients who had health insurance, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.

According to the DOJ, Vault provided various COVID-19 related services to patients across the country, including specimen collection services and vaccine administration.
