The University of Southern California and attorneys for women who alleged they were sexually abused by a campus doctor are seeking court approval for a $215 million class action settlement.
The settlement is intended to provide immediacy, certainty, and privacy for women who alleged they were abused by physician George Tyndall while he was an obstetrician-gynecologist at USC’s student health center, class counsel told the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California Feb. 12.
