A panel that drives US vaccine policy will delay its upcoming meeting to the middle of March, according to a person familiar with the matter, as a legal challenge over the committee’s validity plays out in a Boston courtroom.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices was set to meet next week in Atlanta. It will now take place in March, though an exact date hasn’t been set, said the person, who asked not to be identified describing the private discussions.
