US Government Not Weighing Stake in Critical Metals Corp. (1)

The Trump administration is not currently considering a deal that would see it take a stake in Critical Metals Corp., a White House official said Monday, after a report suggesting Washington was considering a position in the rare earths company sent shares skyrocketing.

The administration is in constant touch with the private sector and has received hundreds of deal proposals involving equity stakes, but it is not actively considering an agreement with the company that has interest in Greenland’s largest rare earths project, the official said.
