Universal Health Falls as Jury Rules Against, Awards Damages (1)

Universal Health Services drops as much as 4.7% after the hospital chain said a jury awarded damages of $535 million against its indirect subsidiary, Pavilion Behavioral Health System, in a lawsuit.

    • Jury awarded plaintiff compensatory damages of $60 million and punitive damages of $475 million on March 28
