The Food and Drug Administration has named Jim Traficant, a former executive with experience working with the federal government, as its chief of staff.
Traficant comes to the FDA role after years in the health care systems and data space, serving as president of Accenture Federal Service subsidiary ASM Research and Harris Healthcare, according to an agency email sent Monday obtained by Bloomberg Law. Prior to joining the FDA, Traficant was partner at consulting group Pinkston.
