Trump Health Agency Loses on New Hampshire Medicaid Work Rules (3)

The U.S. Health and Human Services Department has lost yet another challenge to a Medicaid demonstration project imposing work requirements on a significant share of a state’s Medicaid recipients.

As it did with respect to similar projects in Kentucky and Arkansas, the HHS failed to adequately consider essential factors, such as how many New Hampshire residents would lose Medicaid coverage, before approving the state’s plan, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said July 29.
