Republicans in Congress say they’re waiting for a federal court to side with the Trump administration and overturn Obamacare before finding ways to preserve the popular parts of the health law.
The Department of Justice March 15 moved to agree with a Texas judge who ruled late last year that the entirety of the Affordable Care Act should be nixed. That’s a shift from earlier statements from the administration that only parts of the law should be ruled unconstitutional after Congress tried to end the requirements that all Americans have health insurance.
