Transgender Groups Want In on Obamacare Health Bias Rule Case

Two groups representing transgender individuals want join the defense of a regulation implementing Obamacare’s antidiscrimination provision.

River City Gender Alliance and the ACLU of Texas Feb. 1 renewed their motion to intervene in a 2016 lawsuit filed by Texas and a group of Christian health-care providers in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. The plaintiffs said the regulation violates their religious rights.
