Alabama officials won access to documents that a federal judge says go to “the very heart” of a case challenging a law that precludes gender-affirming care for minors.
The World Professional Association for Transgender Health must produce certain information related to its treatment guidelines, including data that led it to conclude that such care is medically necessary for treating gender dysphoria in adolescents, the US District Court for the Middle District of Alabama said.
