The US International Trade Commission has voted to investigate whether trade secrets violations exist regarding certain imported thyroid hormone receptor-beta agonists, according to the agency on Friday.
Viking Therapeutics Inc. filed a complaint under Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, alleging that the violations carry the threat of destroying or substantially injuring a US industry or preventing the establishment of an industry, the commission said.
Ascletis Pharmaceuticals, Ascletis Bioscience, and Gannex Pharma Co. are among the respondents named in the investigation, USITC said.
Viking Therapeutics seeks a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders, the agency said. ...
